, September 2011: As usual I was impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the Reception staff. My room was beautifully clean and well equipped! Oh dear, the breakfast! There was a lot of it, and it was better than last year! I've been staying at Beit for eleven years now and hopefully for another eleven! It is fantastic value for money, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

, September 2011: We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for us - just next door to the Albert Hall. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast was superb. Thanksyou.

, August 2011: A very pleasant stay. Quiet, convenient and relaxed.

, August 2011: This is THE place to stay in the summer if you want to visit The Proms! Ideal location, clean and comfortable rooms at a very good rate. Couldn't be better.

, August 2011: Great location. Near to Royal Albert Hall and to the underground. Excellent price!!! It will be my first choice when we'll come back to london in august!!!!

, August 2011: Wi-fi in room would be great, but overall a wonderful place to stay.

, August 2011: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in LIC - it was a great experience and one we hope to enjoy again. Our room was large and the beds comfortable. The only small gripe was the lack of a mirror in the room although there was a large one in the shower room. Everything worked perfectly and the room was cleaned daily including replenishing of tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast time was busy but seemed to work seamlessly with enormous portions served quickly and efficiently. We had a couple of meals in East Side bar which were delicious and the staff all worked extremely hard. Finally - the position of this uni is perfect for a stay in central London. The no. 9 bus runs every few minutes from outside Hyde Park to Piccadilly.

, Juli 2011: Good value, no-frills accommodation in an excellent location - with nearby buses and tubes to take you anywhere you want to go. Wide range of ages and nationalities staying in the halls and safe and interesting surroundings for a retired country-mouse-visiting-the-city like me. Clean, tidy rooms and a bit of a scrum for breakfast: back to life as a student!

, Juli 2011: Very enjoyable night's stay. Good breakfast.

, September 2010: First night was freezing - no heating. but appreciated the extra duvet provided on request. I would have thought the coffee/tea/shower gel would have been renewed each day automatically as it would be for one night stays. An extension lead would have been useful so the kettle didn't have to boiled on the floor and a hairdryer could be used. But the location is fantastic for the price and reception staff couldn't have been more helpful so would certainly come again

, September 2010: overall is good, good location, clean the room everyday, the toilet is clean, the bathroom is clean, but the outside is a bit noise in the mid-night.

, September 2010: Although I was concerned about noise from the quadrangle on the first night the problem didn't happen on subsequent nights. I will certainly consider staying at Imperial again in the future if I'm staying in London and will suggest it to others.

, September 2010: Excellent accommodation and very helpful staff!

, September 2010: Always a delight to stay at Imperial on my visits from Canada. Great Breakfasts! THANKS.

, September 2010: Perfect place for an overnight stay, particularly if you are a woman on your own and want a sense of security. Staff were great and I am recommending to all my friends

, September 2010: Internet access was slow / Wifi was weak. A facility to print docs for a reasonable fee would be useful.A microwave oven in the rooms would be useful as well. Breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping, particularly attending to fused bulbs or clogged drains or replenishing bath / tea-coffee items was found wanting.Maybe there could be one attendant to take care in the evening hours. Otherwise location, easy access and the Imperial Brand name make the residences great VFM. I have no hesitation in recommending to business / casual visitors looking for decent accommodation at sub-100 ppd. RAVI

, September 2010: Room was a little 'tired' with some rust and flaking of paint and fittings in the shower. One of the biggest problems was no easy access to drinking water. Despite the kitchen area being opposite the room I was allocated this was double locked and I had no access to water, other than the 500ml provided to the room to cover the 2 days I was staying. The staff were very friendly, polite and efficient.

, September 2010: We truly enjoyed our stay, both had perfect night's sleep (we expected it to be noisy with students). Breakfast to die for! Everywhere sparklingly clean. The young ladies on Reception were delightful, so helpful and kind. We have the dates you are open next year and intend to stay with you again during the summer, as well as for The Big Sing. Our first visit.

, September 2010: Perfect location for a night after the proms

, September 2010: Didn't have breakfast - I left too early to go to LHR. I will use your booking system again

, September 2010: Great location...within walking of bus stops as well as the Tube station . My wife and I are retired and travel internationally often . Beit Hall is a great budget location . We would not hesitate staying there again when in London . David and Jill

, September 2010: I'll definitely be recommending university rooms to others and will be utilising your services again in the future. Excellent location and value for money! The directions to the accommodation from the tube station were very useful.

, September 2010: Great locationa and great value.

, September 2010: It would have been ideal to have WiFi available in all rooms. The location was, however, ideal for the Royal Albert Hall, and we knew we were booking into an old hall.

, September 2010: We would have preferred a room looking into the quadrangle rather than out at the road but we thought the location was excellent for visiting a number of important cultural sites. Would definitely recommend and will visit again next summer.

, September 2010: excellent - I made a point of re booking from last year and the standards have not changed. Thankyou see you next September

, September 2010: What great value for money, and such a convenient location for the Proms. My second year, and hope to return next August.

, September 2010: The staff at reception was very welcoming, polite and helpful - at all times, e.g. booking a taxi for our departure the night before. We would definitely like to stay again.

, September 2010: A nice clean room, only quibble would be that there was only one pillow which was quite thin but that's a personal thing. Would definitely use again especially for late night Proms!

, September 2010: Very handy for the Proms!!! Good value for London.

, September 2010: Excellent place to stay for the Proms.

, September 2010: Appreciated the upgrade to Southside. Best place to stay when attending the Proms.

, September 2010: Very helpful staff on reception.

, September 2010: Lovely staff in reception. I asked for am extra pillow and it was there when I returned to tne room. All very helpful and organised. Also, a wonderful quiet room!

, September 2010: Every year I thoroughly enjoy staying at Beit Hall. The location is superb as I use it as a base for the Proms. The new bar/cafe facilities at Eastside are absolutely brilliant - the food is superb and the staff are extremely friendly. The standard is that of a high class restaurant, but at very low cost. Please pass my congratulations to the chef and other staff! Might I suggest, however, that you keep the prices low for students there, but have a slightly higher price for those like myself, ie non-students? I'm looking forward to staying with you next summer. Incidentally, I have stayed on one occasion, a few years ago, in a self-catering appartment for 4/5 people, which was stunning, in Prince's Gardens (number 46?47?). Is that still available for people like me to rent? Thank you very much!

, September 2010: The shower did not work, and the window had to be wedged open with a bottle. However the room was clean, the breakfast choice excellent and the reception staff very helpful indeed. The en suite was a pleasant surprise. Excellent value for money- I will be staying again!

, August 2010: As there was a central garden/courtyard at the halls it did mean that there were people outside the garden facing rooms until after midnight. Also the corridor doors hd very strong springs so every time someone went along the corridor the door banged.

, August 2010: Returning visitor for Proms. The usual high standard. Thank you. Hope to return for 2011 season

, August 2010: The most ideal location for going to the Proms. Hope the same rates will apply next year.

, August 2010: Absolutely brilliant time, perfect for what we needed. No complaints at all, only praise!

, August 2010: A great alternative for a cheaper stay in London. fabulous location. very clean & comfortable

, August 2010: Very convenient location for RAH. A bit gloomy as one of the 2 room lights and the desk lamp were not working.

, August 2010: This is an excellent facility and all good. The room was fine, little bit of basic painting/cleaning needed on windows and bathroom but acceptable and excellent value for London and the Royal Albert Hall.

, August 2010: Beit Hall is a great place to stay in the centre of London, especially if your are attending The Proms as we were. The room was basic, as we had expected, but it was clean and served us well. The breakfast was very good value indeed. We would certainly stay again and will recommend it to our friends.

, August 2010: Room clean and everything worked well - good showers, comfy beds Location next to Albert Hall was brilliant Could give more help on parking cars. parked in street as campus parking was not available until the evening which seemed strange,

, August 2010: We enjoyed our stay at Beit Hall very much. We were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the location. We consider the accommodation to be excellent value for money and a great location for London attractions. We've already recommended the accommodation to family and friends and we hope to stay here again.

, August 2010: A very comfortable, relaxing and peaceful stay. Also very convenient for attending the Proms next door at the Royal Albert Hall!! It's a shame this accommodation is not available all year round.

, August 2010: Great location with easy travel access. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

, August 2010: The welcome was warm and welcoming. Room 147 was an excellent size with a splendid view across the rear flight of steps down from the Albert Hall which, on balance, I preferred to one facing into Beit quadrangle. I was impressed with the firmness of the mattresses, bearing in mind it was student accommodation. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate with a surprisingly strong shower. One minor matter of housekeeping for you - the toilet roll holder is coming away from the wall owing to wear and tear, not that this was a problem for us in any way. The walk from Beit House to the breakfast building was much shorter than I expected. The breakfast was substantial and very pleasant, especially as we managed to get a table for two by the window. All in all it was an enjoyable and highly satisfactory visit. I shall be recommending not only to my colleagues (Queen's University, Belfast) but also to adult students who attend my 'Travel Talk' series of lectures. This is a twice a year course I run teaching older people (in the Lifelong Learning section) how to use the Internet for their travels! I left in the firm belief Rom 147 had been EXCELLENT value for money. I will be back!

, August 2010: most convenient. Clean and warm room. Super value. Very helpful and pleasant reception staff

, August 2010: The people at the front desk were very helpful, informative, and kind. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Good deal. Thanks.

, August 2010: Great rooms, good staff, good food. All in all, best value for money in London.

, August 2010: All the staff we came in contact with were very good and always helpful. Would definately stay again and recommend to friends.

, August 2010: I strongly believe that it was a good deal considering the cost. I would suggest though the free access to internet since this is given in all hotels for free.

, August 2010: My compliments to the staff on reception, who were pleasant and cheerful and to the housekeeping staff for the high standard of their work. It is always a pleasure to stay at Beit Hall.

, August 2010: Overall good and cheap accommodation for a budget. Location is fantastic. Breakfast becomes boring. Internet access is excellent.

, August 2010: The breakfast experience, in terms of the sheer numbers of people being fed, was not for the faint-hearted. Some warning in the publicity blurb that Prom concert-goers who book in to Imperial College rooms would find themselves among hordes of student groups would have alerted us to the fact that we were not going to experience cloistered calm!

, August 2010: overall we enjoyed our visit to Beit Hall and would highly recommend it to others.

, August 2010: a truly great place to stay, felt like a campus student again!!! Beit hall has lots of characte, the staff was ever so friendly n helpful. i was amazed how quiet it was at night due to my room outlooking onto the quadrangle. i will come and stay again, for sure!!!!

, Juli 2010: All was good, excepted my room: I was very disappointed to not have a real double/twin like pictures on website, but a single with a second bed. I travel with my daughter, and that'ld be more comfortable. Next year , i wish coming again, see you soon

, Juli 2010: Very nice people! Thanks

, Juli 2010: good value for money; we enjoyed our stay.

, Juli 2010: Wonderful position, great room, great service. Loved it . Thankyou.

, Juli 2010: ALL staff particularly pleasant, helpful and efficient.

, Juli 2010: The standard of cleanliness was excellent - my congratulations to your hosekeeping staff

, Juli 2010: Thoroughly delighted with everything, heard about it after my dad recommended Beit Hall to me and I have recommended to a friend too.

, Juli 2010: I am not very mobile but they managed to put me into a room with only 5 steps to climb. The room I had first been given over the phone had, unfortunately, not been cleaned that day, so I was immediately put into a room that was fully prepared for a new guest. I needed more pillows with which I was happily supplied. The reception desk couldn't have been more helpful and I fully enjoyed my time there.

, Juli 2010: Beit Hall is a superb location for the Proms. My scoring isn't just a halo, repetition effect but reflect comparisons from the days before I discovered Imperial.

, Juli 2010: Good value for money; exceptionally clean; very pleasant helpful staff. One room was clearly a twin room, two beds, two desks, two wardrobes, two chairs, 2 lights etc; the other was obviously a single room with an extra put up bed, one chair, one wardrobe and was too small fot two people. The beds were too hard for a middl aged lady - me! The younger members of the party were fine. overall a good experience.

, Juli 2010: only problem was that it was noisy but the location was excellent for a visit to london with my 18 y.o. daughter and we loved the college athmosphere

, Juli 2010: Everyone was very helpful. I loved that the World Cup was made available to everyone!

, Juli 2010: Single room was excellent value for money (£50) in central London - clean, quiet, comfortable bed and helpful staff. Have recommended it to friends.

, Juli 2010: We would like to come again - have also recommended you for friends who are going to London later this summer.

, Juli 2010: I was extremely impressed! Staff on the desk were very helpful. The room was spacious, clean & well-equipped. I will definitely book again.

, Juli 2010: I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, helpful staff, and great breakfast if a little chaotic. After a disappointing stay at a tired Travel lodge in Kings Cross earlier in the week at a higher rate without breakfast, it was an oasis of calm and very welcoming, with tea making facilities and water. We also took advantage of the swimming pool and had a cheap drink in the bar.I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in London.

, Juli 2010: excellent quality of room and service - very good value for only a little money

, Juli 2010: Surprised not to be able to drink the tap water but a water cooler was provided in reception area. It would have been helpful to have the cooler pointed out on arrival. We greatly appreciated the provision of a fan in the bedroom. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Great location, very clean.

, Juli 2010: extremely nice and very competent maths student at the reception on the night of our arrival (Friday July 2nd). We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment

, Juli 2010: Reception staff very polite and efficient.

, Juli 2010: the service from the front desk was outstanding. the staff was most helpful. i enjoyed my stay at the residence and would have no hesitation in recommending your facility.

, Juli 2010: I was really satisfied with the accommodation and the helpful and friendly attitude of the staff (the receptionists and assistants at the breakfast). The housekeeping service was also great. The location is perfect:very nice bulidings, quiet and safe neighbourhood.

, Juli 2010: The bottle of drinking water in room on arrival was most welcome. I liked having an en-suuite for a single room which is not always possible to find. Two very quiet nights, with some noise (doors closing) on third night. Breakfast was a wide choice which was lovely, the tea and coffee from the drinks machines was awful though.

, Juli 2010: Good value for money in central London and we appreciated our request for a quiet room. The room was very clean and there was constant hot water. Supplying a fan in the very hot weather was a welcome idea. Would use again. However we would have liked the complimentary bottles of water to be replaced when used. We were told as policy this only happened on the first day. The sign in the bathroom instructed us not to drink water from the tap and we did not have access to a kitchen. what is the difference between the room being let to 6 separate couples on 6 different nights and to one couple for 6 nights?

, Juli 2010: Great value London accommodation, close to underground and museums. Nice welcoming staff. But two grumbles. Didn`t do breakfast because the directions for getting there were yoo complicated. I stayed on a hot sticky, midsummer night, but the only ventilation was a window that opened just a few inches. An electric fan would have been a help.

, Juli 2010: wireless internet could be better in the rooms

, Juli 2010: excellent quality / price will advise to other people Regards Paul Posar

, Juli 2010: Booking was easy and fast. The room contained all essentials, but needed some fixing and refreshing (paint was flaking off both in the sleeping room and in the bathroom). Lack of air conditioning could be regarded normal in this price segment but it was still rather hard to survive in this particular case, because of very high summer temperatures outside. A good surprise was low street noise. Room service was disappointing (they nearly always forgot something) and lack of drinking water in the room was not very pleasant. I found a "do not drink tap water" label in the bathroom, but a limited quantity of drinking water was provided only on the very first day of my six night stay. Internet connection in the room was available for a special price only. In summary, it was still quite a good value for this price, regarding the position in the city. Quality of the stay could be much improved by making arrangements for drinking water and for more careful room service. Free internet in the room could be a nice bonus capable of inviting me to book again.

, Juli 2010: We shall be using your facilities again !

, Juli 2010: great location for our long weekend in London. Comfortable beds & terrific breakfast. High temperatures at night - but the fan helped! Will definitely use again.
